REHVA Student Competition 2024

Are you a student passionate about HVAC and building services? Register now for the prestigious REHVA Student Competition and cash in your opportunity to shine on an international stage! The first step is the Dutch Nominee Competition organized by TVVL. The winner of the Dutch competition will participate in the REHVA Student Competition 2024.

Each year, REHVA hosts a European student competition aimed at acknowledging and celebrating outstanding HVAC students. In the run-up to this event, each national REHVA Member Association has the opportunity to nominate one entry through their own local contests. The entries submitted for the competition are derived from either Master's or Bachelor's theses and can cover any subject related to heating, ventilation, or air conditioning.

Imagine yourself at the heart of the action during the REHVA Annual Meeting in May 2024 in Istanbul, where the Student competitions unfold. It's the perfect platform to demonstrate your knowledge and skills to an international audience.

How to Participate?

  • Send a 1-page summary and motivation to info@tvvl.nl using this form for submission.
  • Pencil [date Dutch nominee competition) in your calender in case you are selected for the Dutch Nominee Competition.

What to expect:

  • The first selection will be organized on national level by TVVL for the Netherlands.
  • If you win as Dutch Nominee you will build an international network, are able to showcase at national events, and your work will be featured in TVVL Magazine.
  • Winning the European REHVA Student Competition will means a cash prize of €500 and a chance to publish in the prestigious REHVA Journal.

Procedure overview Dutch Nominee Competition:

Out of all the Dutch submissions, three candidates will be chosen to present their research to the TVVL the jury of the Dutch Nominee Comittee. The Dutch final, happening at the TVVL offices in Woerden, will reveal who will represent the Netherlands at the REHVA Student Competition 2024.
